Professional Photography Training

In my photography workshops, you’ll have the opportunity to learn professional photography techniques, including using portrait and studio lighting, controlling the camera manually, and posing a model, both in a studio environment and outside. You'll also learn how to edit your images in Adobe Lightroom.

You will be using full-frame Nikon and Sony cameras, and a wide range of professional lenses, studio and lighting equipment.

Any images you take during the workshop will belong to you for exclusive use in your portfolio.

Lunch will be provided, with tea, coffee and snacks on offer throughout the day.

Wedding Photography Training

There’s a lot to learn if you’re looking to get into the wedding photography business and hands-on training and tuition can be the perfect crash course. I offer one on one professional wedding photography workshops and courses to get you into the wedding photography business.

I’ll teach you everything you need to know to become a wedding photographer, from the equipment you’ll need to invest in, techniques to use on the day, as well as the tips and tricks I’ve picked up from years in the business. I’m happy to tailor the photography lessons to suit your skill level and knowledge, so feel free to get in touch to discuss your requirements and I’ll provide a quote.

What My Students Say About Me…

Thanks for a really useful day, a good lunch and the opportunity to meet and work with your lovely model Lauren.

Both yourself and Lauren work so well together to create a relaxed, informal but productive environment. I appreciated the fact that you took into consideration the correct pace for my learning experience. You were extremely generous with your knowledge of the industry.

I have certainly come away from the workshop with a lot more confidence and am really looking forward now to putting all that I learned into practice at the next special event I am asked to photograph. I have never photographed a model before, but Lauren put me at my ease with her calm and assured nature.

I may well come back to you to reinforce the learning and develop my skills as I progress with my career in events photography.

Portrait and Studio Lighting Lessons

Learn portrait photography and studio lighting techniques with my studio lighting workshops and lessons.

Spend a day in my studio, using professional portrait and lighting equipment and gaining hands on experience in posing a professional model.

You’ll learn beginner, intermediate or advanced photography and lighting techniques, dependant on your experience, existing skillset and knowledge.

Whether you want to dip your toes into the water of portrait photography and studio lighting, or need to learn advanced methods, as a hobby or to branch out into professional photography, I will tailor the lessons to your skill level and provide a bespoke quote.

On the Job Photography Training

Does your business have professional photography equipment and noone to use it? Or could your inhouse photography team simply do with some pointers and training? If your business has professional photography equipment inhouse, I offer full and half day training sessions to bring your internal team up to speed and save your business money on ongoing professional photography fees.

I’m happy and able to come to your business premises and use the equipment you have on hand to help your team produce better quality images internally, saving your business money in the long run. I will tailor the course and tuition to the skill levels and experience of all individuals involved in the training to ensure maximum benefit is gained from the photographer training session.

Whether you need to train up a member of staff on product photography for your website, commercial photography for your marketing materials or even property photography, chances are it’s going to be more cost effective to hire a professional photographer to deliver training and tuition to your internal team, than it is to pay a photographer each time you need high-quality images.
